Coach, Captain and Hood Racer we’re on the road again now and moving smoothly. We Arrived at Pueblo last night at 1am – discovered the broken leaf spring must have happened as we pulled into the lot because up to the. We were doing 75mph on the freeway. I was up at 6am this morning getting things prepared for shops to open by 9:30am. I had all the parts and we hit the road again at 10:45am. About 5 hours behind where we wanted to be, but I think we’re going to make it

The rest of the team started to travel down to TX. Today, the team flew down to Fort Worth, Texas to prepare for our journey across the state. We began the day by driving to Portland, arriving at the airport at 8:30 am and making our flight with plenty of left over time. After a rather uneventful flight, we touched down at DFW and rented cars for the trip. We drove to our Air BnB and settled down after a quick round of confusion about how to pen the lock o the door. We spent the rest of the day in the pool and in the garage, preparing, preparing ourselves and equipment for scrutineering and the race ahead. Overall, we had a great day and a great start to our journey.
