Every part of our car, from the frame to the electrical systems, represents hours of teamwork, creativity, and grit. Beyond competition, our mission is to inspire the next generation by dreaming big.

Meet Our Team Mentors
Justin Ulland – Team Captain
Justin Ulland works for Panthalassa in Portland, harnessing wave technology for cheaper renewable energy. He uses his back ground in competing in FSAE in collage. and an Engineer technician for OptimumG racing in the Formal 2 race teams series. The last 15 years he has been helping to build rockets at Blue Origin in WA. He is very excited to help Solar Storms from the ground up.
Cari Streeter – Outreach/Fundraising Mentor
Co-founder of Jewelry by Cari, a handcrafted fine jewelry brand based in Hood River, OR. Cari is contributing her experience in design, marketing, and small business operations to help the solar storms team with business.
